A LITTLE ABOUT US
The Connecticut BDSM Munches were started in February 1998 by Fleurss because of a lack of BDSM gatherings in the Southern half of CT. Since there were already two pansexual groups in CT, there was also a need for a less formal and more social BDSM gathering. The monthly Munches began in New Haven, and when Fleurss temporarily moved out of state for two years OpnHeartd took over until Fleurss returned and resumed running them again. In April, 2007 Fleurss was joined by AylaSJ (me) as a co-host of the Munch and then in February, 2008 she turned the responsibility completely over to me.
The main goal of the Southern CT Munch has always been to simply provide a relaxed atmosphere for people interested in BDSM to be able to meet others and get information on local and regional events. Over time the goal was expanded to include being a place where newcomers can come to socialize and learn from others in a safe environment. The Munches are open to anyone who has an interest in BDSM regardless of experience level, sexual orientation or identification, role identification (dominant, submissive, switch, etc.), or age (I only ask that people be 18  or over to attend).
From the very beginning the Munches have taken place on the second Saturday of each month. Currently the munches are being held in North Haven, CT from 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M., although I have expanded the start time to 12:30 P.M. for newcomers who may feel more comfortable initially meeting a few people before the munch gets started. I do have a mailing list which I maintain and use to send out notices about the Munch and any related events, this list is maintained solely by me, no body else will have access to any of the email addresses. There is more information on the Munches on the FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions); however if you have any additional questions about the Munch or local groups/resources, e-mail me at: Aylasj@yahoo.com
